On August 29, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) announced the evaluation results for trustworthy AI intelligent coding tools. Baidu's Intelligent Coding Assistant, Wencin Fast Code (Baidu Comate), received a 4+ rating in the first round of evaluation, becoming one of the first companies in the country to receive the highest rating currently available. This evaluation is based on the 'Requirements for Intelligent Software Engineering Technology and Applications Part 2: Intelligent Development Capabilities' standard released by CAICT in April 2024, covering intelligent coding, code quality checking, developer assistance, non-functional elements, and engineering.
